I am a dad, husband, musician, designer, developer, friend, and photographer.
I like taking pictures of people because it is nice to see them smile.
Kids are the best sittings because they just want to play, and we are there to observe and capture.
Parties are fun because you are a fly on the wall.
Families are neat because it may be the last time they are all together.
In all... I like making people smile.
Great shoot with a fun family. It is way different to shoot adults that will stay put when you pose them! :-)
This was also the first time I got to use my off-camera flash kit which was great too.

Wow I have been neglecting posting to the blog. I have been shooting like crazy and have posted most of these to FaceBook I just haven’t gotten them over to here.
So this was my first Newborn shoot about 2 months ago. The Woods are friends of ours that go to church with my family. They agreed to let me use them as a test subject. I thought they turned out great!

Fun couple on a rainy day. We were bound and determined to get this shoot in and rain be damned we did it!

I got a text the other day from my Sister-In-Law who is also a photographer out in Maryland. She had remembered that I took a picture of my daughter waiting for the bus and recommended that I enter it in the latest DPS weekly assignment titled “School Days”. I entered and low and behold I won!
I found out that you don’t actually win anything but at least I can say I won something! :-)
No special occasion, just wanted new pictures. Took these at a new location though so that was fun.

I got to do a photoshoot for someone that is very special to our family. Brooke watches our kids and is like a second mother to them. When she asked me to do pictures I was more then happy to oblige. BTW these are not engagement photos… they are “Friendship” photos… so don’t get any idea… yet! :-)

This shoot was for a web client of mine, Kelly Dale. We decided that she needed a little more edgier pictures for her website…

Fun photo-shoot with some old friends. The daughter did not want her picture taken so I slapped on the telephoto and said “just look at the flowers and play” :-)
