Who is J.J. Merrick?

I am a dad, husband, musician, designer, developer, friend, and photographer.

I like taking pictures of people because it is nice to see them smile.

Kids are the best sittings because they just want to play, and we are there to observe and capture.

Parties are fun because you are a fly on the wall.

Families are neat because it may be the last time they are all together.

In all... I like making people smile.

Wow I have been neglecting posting to the blog. I have been shooting like crazy and have posted most of these to FaceBook I just haven’t gotten them over to here.

So this was my first Newborn shoot about 2 months ago. The Woods are friends of ours that go to church with my family. They agreed to let me use them as a test subject. I thought they turned out great!

November 18, 2009 - 10:28 pm kristal - WOW!!! i can't believe how tiny she was...you picked some of my favorite shots from that day! I especially love the picture of her with her fingers in her mouth! :) Thanks again for taking these pictures for us! :)
