Who is J.J. Merrick?

I am a dad, husband, musician, designer, developer, friend, and photographer.

I like taking pictures of people because it is nice to see them smile.

Kids are the best sittings because they just want to play, and we are there to observe and capture.

Parties are fun because you are a fly on the wall.

Families are neat because it may be the last time they are all together.

In all... I like making people smile.

Print Products

Your photographs maximum quality not only depends on the quality of the image taken but on the paper they are printed on.

 

For color photos we use only high quality Kodak Professional E-Surface Paper. This paper gives you excellent color replication and has a 100 year archive rating and 200 years in dark storage.

For Black and White photos we use True B&W Paper This panchromatic, resin-coated paper is specifically designed for making continuous-tone B&W prints directly from digital images in digital exposing systems. Because the emulsion is silver-based rather than dye-based, the imaging performance and characteristics of this paper are the same as traditional b&w continuous-tone papers.

Metallic paper is the coolest paper I’ve ever seen and touched! It uses a patented combination of film and laminate layers that produce striking, three-dimensional, lasting images. The pearlescent surface provides gorgeous color saturations and makes the paper resistant to tearing and curling. If you would like this option just select during the ordering process.
